Former Facebook president Sean Parker seems to have become somewhat of an environmentalist. The former Facebook president and current Spotify investor recently had his wedding in the redwood forests of Big Sur, CA, with monster price tags attached.
After spending $10 million on his extravagant wedding to singer-songwriter Alexandra Lenas, concerned locals noted the construction of cottages, bridges, and ponds were not so environmentally-friendly, and taking place without proper permits. In order to continue on with the wedding preparations, Parker agreed to pay $2.5 million to the California Coastal Commission in support of conservation projects for the environment.
Parker said, “In continuing my foundation’s mission, we are excited to support these important conservation-related projects for and with the local community.”
Steelhead trout are also excited.
