Musicians are taking advantage of Instagram‘s new video feature, always a plus when the future of video-based networking is at stake. Artists like John Mayer, Madonna and Phoenix have been using their phones to create 15-second long videos to connect with their fans.
They build the buzz through exclusive peeks at upcoming tracks and albums, provide insider looks into music video productions, and show snippets of live performances.

Instagram amassed more than 5 million videos within the first 24 hours of launching the feature. Vine peaked at just over 2 million videos back in June 15, dropping from No.2 to No.7 most popular free app on the App Store.
