Social commerce platform Chirpify closes its series A round, the first round of venture funding, at $6 million dollars after announcing today that it has added an additional $4 million. The additional funding comes from new investors, including Saturn Partners, Provenance Ventures, “the hoops whisperer” Idan Ravin, and more. The initial $2 million contribution to the series A was from Voyager Capital.
The new capital will be used towards extending the applications of the company into new markets and cross-channel promotions; Chirpify’s new features and offerings will be available within the next few months, powering its tried-and-true technology to also enable live event and TV conversions.
Chirpify adds over 300 new users each day since its launch in 2012 and dozens of world-popular brands have made possible the Chirpify platform to enable in-stream transactions on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
