The UK’s “Borrow, Enjoy, Return” Bloom.fm Reaches 250,000 Subscribers Milestone

Bloom.fm, a solely UK-based mobile music app, is proud to announce that it has amassed more than 250,000 subscribers within just 6 months of its launch.

What’s interesting isn’t the fact that a music app is successful, but rather that Bloom.fm’s structure is slightly different from other competitors: for £1 a month, users can “borrow” up to 20 tracks onto their device and swap out the downloads with other tracks as long as there’s only 20 in the library. Traditional radio and streaming is also available, ad-free.

Although currently only available on iOS, an Android version is expected to be released soon.
