Songza offers users a somewhat amusing way to experience music through expertly curated playlists based on the time of day and mood/activity. Now, the company is introducing the official version of Club Songza, an ad-free version with exclusive features for $.99 a week.
Although Songza doesn’t incorporate audio ads into its playlist to begin with, the app uses visual banner ads along with music selection based on particular events and promotions for revenue.
The difference in Club Songza is that users will experience no ads and that have access to an extra “experience.”
