Jacqueline Saturn definitely earns the tag ‘veteran’ after a 20-year stint at Epic Records (Sony Music Entertainment). But nothing’s forever: Saturn is now exiting Epic as SVP of promotion and has joined Harvest Records (part of Capitol) as co-manager alongside Piero Giramonti. Saturn worked under Steve Barnett, current Chairman of Capitol Music Group, for nine years during her time at Epic.
Dick Clark Productions has just named Greg Economou as Executive VP and Chief Revenue Officer, with oversight over splashy events like the American Music Awards, American Country Awards, and Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Years. Economou previously worked for the Charlotte Bobcats.
Elsewhere, Live Nation has officially severed the cord with Ticketmaster President Nathan Hubbard, according to paperwork now filed. But don’t save his spot in the soup line: Hubbard will receive five months of his full, million-plus salary, with a complete 2013 bonus payout and a large portion of options and stock fully vested.
Tatiana Simonian, Twitter’s head of music for the past two years, is now headed to Nielson as VP of Client Solutions. Twitter has uploaded a job posting to fill this soon-to-be-available seat.
CBS Radio Los Angeles has named Daniel Kearney as SVP/Market Manager. Kearney will report to CBS Radio President/CEO Dan Mason, effective September 3rd.
