The most substantial shuffle is a mini shake-up at Warner Music Group in the UK, where Christian Tattersfield is stepping down as CEO of Warner Music UK and co-chairman of Warner Bros. Records UK effective February. Max Lousada assumes the position of co-CEO of Warner Music UK immediately, with full CEO stripes in February. Lousada will report into WMG chairman Stephen Cooper.
Additionally, Miles Leonard, chairman of Parlophone Records and co-chairman of Warner Bros. Records UK, will oversee the Warner Bros. label after Tattersfield’s exit, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
FastTrack, which manages the largest database of music copyrights, has named Michel Allain as new Managing Director.
Warner Chappell Production Music has appointed Tom English as VP/Business Development.
Universal Music Group has appointed Michele Anthony as EVP of U.S. Recorded Music. She will report to chairman Lucian Grainge and CFO Boyd Muir. Anthony is an industry veteran, having served a 16-year tenure with Sony, most recently as president and COO of Sony Music Label Group U.S.
Warner Music Group has brought onboard Bart Cools to lead its developing EDM strategy. Cools was a key component in David Guetta’s rise to stardom, as well as those of Swedish House Mafia and Deadmau5.
Downtown Music Publishing has promoted Bea Koramblyum to Director of Business Affairs and will report to COO/General Counsel Andrew Bergman. She was previously Contract Administrator for the company.
