Warner Music Group has announced Warner Classics and Erato, their new classical labels. Alain Lanceron is now President of these labels.
Tony Gervino is Billboard Magazine‘s new Editor-In-Chief. Gervino was previously Executive Editor of Hearst Magazines International.
Myspace has added a new sales team, in hopes of selling “integrated brand packages to advertisers seeking to connect with young consumers through music“:
- D. Scott Karnedy will lead this sales team as Senior Vice President of Global Sales. He was previously chief revenue officer at SnagFilms.
- Jamie Rush, David Goldstein, and Hugh Jamieson are also joining the team as sales executives.
