Executive Shuffles: Apple, Beats Music, Tom Rounds, Streamsound Records


Beats Music CEO Ian Rogers and Chief Creative Officer Trent Reznor will both be moving to Apple with Beats.  Reports had been circulating that the two executives were not making the move.

Streamsound Records has hired Teddi Bonadies as VP of National Promotion and Strategic Marketing. Streamsound is an indie country record label based in Brentwood, Tennessee. The label is distributed by ATO Records.

In other industry news…

Radio broadcaster and producer Tom Rounds has passed away. Rounds put on the first ever rock music festival in 1967, worked on some of the first music videos, and started the American Top 40.
