Moby has released project files for his song “The Last Day” on collaboration platform Blend, inviting fans to remix the song.

He has been uploading projects to Blend for the past 10 months.

Moby previously released stems for “The Last Day” in a BitTorrent Bundle, which contained stems for all songs on his latest album Innocents. Uploading project files for Ableton and Pro Tools has made the remixing process more interactive and intuitive.

Back in July Moby said he would do his best to protect his fans’ remixes from DMCA takedowns, saying:

“We have moved beyond the exhausting notion that our greedy hands need to hold onto these tunes so tightly. The world just doesn’t work like that anymore.”

Hey if i was sitting on many many Millies like Moby is, id do the same thing…

Dont really care what famous family member multi millionaries are doing, it usually only fucks my life over even more….

Thank-you multi millionaires for giving something away for free that actually makes you money, tons of money, and leaving people wanting the same from me, but since im not balling or connected or part of the family, i not only dont make money from it, it removes any future possibility of making money…

Awesome, what a fuck job these days…

    😉

        Lol…

I’m in a unique position myself… A very unique position and one people may not fully understand, so apologies on the friendly fire and collateral damage, stakes are too high right now…

Don’t let my show and/or my propaganda, strategy and plan fool you, I’m well known, famous some say, its just not in my nature to belabor on about it…

        🙂
