Chris Phillips is now Chief Product Officer of Pandora.  Phillips was previously Director of Product Management and User Experience at Amazon‘s digital music department.

In other news, there have been multiple industry deaths…

A&R executive Craig Aaronson has died as a result of cancer.  During his career he signed Jimmy Eat World, Less Than Jake, Avenged Sevenfold, and many other rock bands.  He was most recently working with Hundred Handed records.

Music publishing executive Linda Komorsky Liker died after being hit by a car, says The Hollywood Reporter.  Liker was President of International Music Services and was previously an executive at Dimensional Music Publishing, Touchtunes, BMG Music Publishing, and EG Music.

    YES! Bravo Pandora!
    We need to improve music delivery methods to freeloaders, so they will experience much higher, unknown yet level of music experience.
    Congratulation Chris. I hope some of us will not melt down from overindulgence.
