    wowzers…

i look at stuff like that and go, there’s just not enough ears and eyes and time for the amount of bands/artists there are… there’s just not enough coins to be put in the collection plate to make it a worthwhile endeavor….

there are so many artists/bands/dj’s that you could spend a lifetime and not get through all of them… its no wonder the value has tanked, oversupply leads to lower prices, always does, and now with less work around and more time for people and the continued tech and free thing being sold to the next wave of wannabes, its only going to get worse and worse…

i mean of course do it for the love and enjoyment of it, but when living within monetary jurisdictions with continued rising costs, any normal thinking person will have to be concerned about where their livelihood is going to come from and at some point those things become of importance to just about everyone on the planet…

all that being said in 30 years or so when all the legacy acts and tenured acts are gone, it will be real interesting to see what happens… likely another nose dive crash in the industry once that happens, unless holographic tours of those legacy and tenured acts really catches off and some next media requires another round of remixes/remasters to peddle to the masses…

the sheer vast amount of bands/artists/dj’s out there and the tiny wee little pool of money, makes it the craziest thing to think about doing for any sort of sustainable career or living…

how anyone gets anywhere and carves out anything these days is beyond me… best of luck to them all…
