Nancy Tellem: Microsoft Studios

Nancy Tellem of Interlude

Interlude has hired Nancy Tellem as Executive Chairman and Chief Media Officer. She will also be responsible for fostering relationships inside Hollywood. Tellem was previously President of CBS Network Television Group and Corporate Vice President and President of Xbox Entertainment Studios.

PledgeMusic has hired Scott Hueston as Head of Artist Solutions in North America. Hueston has worked with The Raconteurs, The White Stripes, Moby, The Chemical Brothers, and others.

There are some changes to Pandora‘s Board of Directors.

    • Tim Leiweke (Chief Executive of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment) and Roger Faxon (former head of EMI) are joining the Board.
    • They are replacing Robert Kavner (venture capitalist) and David Sze (Partner at Greylock Partners)

In other news…

Bill Arhos, founder of Austin City Limits, passed away last week due to heart disease. Arhos created the show in 1974 and PBS bought it in 1975. The pilot episode featured Willie Nelson, an up-and-coming musician at the time.

    Roger Faxon joining Pandora! That is a serious case of gamekeeper turned poacher. Or is it a duel to the death between Marty and Roger.
