A stage at Hamburg’s Reeperbahn Festival burned down in the early hours of September 8th. No one was hurt, but the stage collapsed.
NDR.de reports that flames were up to 20 feet high and nearby residents had to close doors and windows due to heavy smoke.
The cause of the fire has not been found yet, but arson isn’t out of the picture.
Reeperbahn will move forward as planned. The performances scheduled to take place at the affected location will move to a different venue.
