Nonesuch Records has now named David Bither as co-president, with the shift commencing January 1st. David has played a significant role in developing the label’s roster and overall ‘art-house’ profile. “David has been involved with the label for more than 30 years, and we are truly fortunate to have someone with his deep knowledge and experience take over the helm,” said Stephen Cooper, CEO of umbrella label Warner Music Group. The Bither announcement closely follows the announced departure of Hurwitz from day-to-day operations.
