The Digital Content Producer writes, produces and edits content for, as well as various

SiriusXM marketing streams, including customer email and trial subscriber communications. This

position will help manage the digital content involving our talk department, which means pop culture,

entertainment, and lifestyle. S/he will also help with the distribution of content across social media

platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, SnapChat). S/he will craft digital content with the

appropriate editorial voice and style for different audiences and distribution points. This person must

quickly develop tight relationships with the Talent, Promotions and Programming Departments, so

strong relationship skills are a must.


Duties and Responsibilities:

 Create new and edit existing and content for and marketing streams.

 Effect the distribution of digital content through social media.

 Work with programming to produce engaging content.

 Contribute to social media strategy.

 Create social content for SiriusXM’s main brand, channel, show and host accounts.

 Advise Programming on social media best practices, collaborate on digital content strategies.

 Manage creation of digital content for and delivery to marketing streams.

 Manage relevant analytics reports and content tracking.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

 Supervise interns work in content management and social media.


Minimum Qualifications: 

 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

 Minimum of 2 years experience with writing, editing, web production and content creation, preferably in a media and/or              entertainment company.

 Experience across all social media platforms.

 Content marketing experience a plus.


Requirements and General Skills:

 Experience writing and editing copy and headlines for editorial content.

 Social media expertise.

 Experience across various content management systems (WordPress a plus).

 Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff across departments and levels.

 Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

 Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.

 Strong organizational skills and attention to details.

 Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under

shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 Must have legal right to work in the U.S.


Technical Skills:

 Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

 Image editing in Photoshop.

 Experience in CMS publishing a plus (especially WordPress).

 Editing and Writing experience a must.
