Disc Makers, a leader in the optical media manufacturing and music marketing industries is searching for an Account Executive – Major Accounts. Based out of our Philadelphia-area headquarters, this newly created position will report directly to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for generating sales leads and securing new, strategic client relationships.

The selected candidate will:

  • Meet and exceed sales revenue goals through a consultative selling process.
  • Work with prospects to build strong customer relationships and drive top line sales.
  • Regularly use professional, yet competitive selling skills and the latest systems and computer technologies to proactively penetrate, grow and manage a sales territory.
  • Communicate all processes, procedures and requirements to prospects in order to manage customer expectations and increase first pass yield.
  • Build customer loyalty and retention through probing, needs analysis and effective communication.

•    Possess the ability to understand and clearly communicate the media replication and print/packaging processes and requirements including digital print, warehousing and distribution.

  • Possess the ability to sell computer hardware and peripherals including CD and DVD duplication equipment, printers, storage, back-up and interchange solutions to market verticals.
  • Possess the ability to uncover and satisfy customer needs with the appropriate selection of products and value-added services from the Disc Makers Catalog and other resources.
  • Apply credit and pricing procedures to meet customer expectations while minimizing financial risk for the organizations.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful work experience in an outbound sales role, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment.  Previous sales experience in optical media manufacturing and/or printing, packaging and copy solutions is ideal.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a desire to find solutions for our customers’ needs.
  • Possess the initiative to take on new responsibilities and learn all aspects of the business.
  • Willingness and ability to embrace a sales process and apply best demonstrated practices to close sales.
  • Possess or develop considerable technical knowledge of media manufacturing, offset printing processes, packaging, silk screening process, media duplication systems, blank media, printers, storage and back-up systems.
  • Ability to think analytically, strategically and creatively.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing “fanatical” customer service.
  • Demonstrate functional competence and product knowledge in multiple product groups to satisfy customer application needs.

•    Possess a desire and ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment where priorities are continually changing, to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve performance barriers.
