The VP of Product Marketing will work closely with the CEO in establishing all product and marketing strategy, with accountability for key growth metrics. This marketing and product leader will be obsessed with online music, Web 2.0 marketing strategies and will have a proven track record of aligning technology solutions with market needs in a startup environment. The ideal candidate will also have experience building developer communities and will be able to meaningfully connect with developers. Though this position will work closely with development teams in product planning, this is not a hands-on engineering role. Responsibilities: * Develop The Echo Nest brand and trust relationship within our target market: online music services and music application developers around the world. * Serve as the company's primary customer advocate ensuring our music search, recommendation and interactivity solutions address our customers' needs. * Drive product innovation, focused on profitability and informed by analytical research. * Continue the momentum of our unique dev community, developer.echonest.com, to build the most vibrant music developer community anywhere.
