AmazonMP3 Operations Coordinator
The Digital Media operations team is responsible for generating content for Amazon’s various digital services.  Our goal is to build technologies and processes that create distinctive products for our customers and services for our studio partners.
 
The Digital Media Operations team receives content from a multitude of sources in a variety of formats.  The Digital Media Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing and conducting the receipt, handling, transformation, and ingestion of all content for Amazon’s digital products.  The Coordinator is also responsible for the quality of the product and for ensuring content providers receive excellent service.  He/she will also be responsible for professionally engaging with content providers to ensure their content goes into saleable distribution in a timely and high quality manner.  The Coordinator will be evaluated on his/her ability to meet cost, quality, and operational performance objectives as well as his/her professionalism with internal and external stakeholders.  As the primary conduit for digital content and as the key operational interface with content provider operations and encoding houses, the Coordinator will demonstrate an unrelenting passion for serving!

Qualifications:
  • Diligent work ethic and attention to detail
  • Strong personal integrity
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Familiarity with managing product flow in a manufacturing operation – maximizing efficiency, reducing cycle time, maintaining quality, etc.
  • Experienced working in a production environment and proven success in achieving efficiency and throughput goals.
  • Strong technical aptitude and expertise with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby or similar, MS Windows, MS Office tools including MS-Excel & MS-Access. Experience with SQL highly desired.
  • Familiarity with common digital formats and digital transmission methods such as FTP and SFTP
  • Experience working with major record label operations a plus but not absolutely required
  • 2 years of strong analytical skills and project management experience
  • Team player with demonstrated capability to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done.
  • 4 year degree required
