Position: Vice-President Music

Position Overview

 

Position will report to President

 

Position will have oversight over Music Department and Account relationships.

 

Candidate required to have experience with working with Marketing Corporate Brands, On-line experience, solid Music industry relationships, and ideation creativity.

 

Ideal candidate will be a Rock star within the Music Marketing industry who has strong work experiences a Senior Director or Vice-President.    Marketing & Music Experience should be from an Agency, label, publisher, music management, on-line provider or key player in the music marketing space. 

 

Position Responsibilities

 

-Client management of Corporate Brands and music consulting services

-Development of music based strategies for corporate brands and music

-Development and pitching new music clients

-Consultation on all music marketing opportunities for TMA sister agencies

-All day-to-day activities of our music marketing department

-Proactively assess opportunities which are presented and seek out new opportunities for client

-Consultation on all music marketing opportunities

-Make recommendations to client for participation and outline expected deliverables

-Management of content acquisition

-Oversight of contract negotiation

-Networking with music industry contacts and expanding a database within the music creative community

-Travel for up to 7 music festivals throughout United States

 

Client Responsibilities

 

-Manage overall relationships at senior client levels

-Ensure all client deliverables are met on an annual basis or as per the contract

-Ensure client satisfaction on all initiatives agreed to by client.

-Ensure all client approvals

-Interacting proactively with members of all DBE service departments and TMA agencies

 

Experience Requirements

 

-10 years full time work experience

-5 years work in corporate marketing

-3 years work in the music industry

-3 years experience as a Director and/or Vice President

 

-Experience with partnering Corporate brands and music

-Experience with on-line music space

-Thorough knowledge of Music industry

-Substantial Music industry contacts at labels

 

 

Skill Requirements

 

-Experience dealing with Senior Management

-A strong computer and technical knowledge of Internet, Microsoft Office programs is required.

-Experience in a diverse teamwork environment

-Outstanding communication, presentation, numerical, written and verbal skills

-Broad-based supervisory skills and management of staff

-Detail oriented

-Ability to Present to clients at senior level

-Ability to plan, assign & directing work flow

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet stringent deadlines with a do what it takes attitude

-Ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed.

-Ability to travel

-Degree from a University

 

Compensation

 

Base Salary commensurate with experience + Annual Bonus
