What Else? Super Bowl, M.I.A., Voice, X Factor, Rdio, Bandsintown, Grammys...

Long Tail, Gigantic Torso: Looks like Super Bowl XLVI garnered the largest viewing audience - in the history of television - with 111.3 million viewers according to an estimate from Comcast.

Which is one reason why M.I.A. is now facing a possibly gigantic fine for her 'finger malfunction,' with the FCC rumored to be considering a penalty of several hundred thousand dollars.

Also, did you check out 'The Voice,' aired directly after the game on Sunday night?  It was a plum slot, though the Voice solidly outperformed last year's post-game broadcast for 'Glee'.  That is, with 40 percent more viewers year-over-year, according to Nielsen ratings.

Which brings us to 'The X Factor,' where a rumor is now circulating that Simon Cowell is dangling a $100 million ransom to lure Beyonce as a full-time judge.  Let's see.

Rdio has just revamped its Android app, one that includes enhancements like new releases, top charts, recommendations, and support for Android Ice Cream Sandwich's new remote control client.

Bandsintown now says 50,000 artists are using the platform to manage and promote their shows online, with a collective audience of 3 million.

This isn't dying down.  Protesting artists are planning to camp outside of the next Grammy Awards on February 12th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, with a goal of reinstating a number of nixed categories.  Latin Jazz artists are expected in force.

And, Backplane is now hosting a 'SXSW Managers Hack' with heavyweight judges like Justin Bieber manager Scooter Braun, and Lady Gaga manager Troy Carter.  The possibilities are fairly broad, more details here
