Re: My Song Was Played 3.1 Million Times on Pandora. My Check Was $39...

Pull the song from Pandora. If they're getting the plays, they're getting the traffic. And if they would like to continue benefitting from the song, then either you, or your publishing company, need to hire a lawyer and take control of the situation. I am a songwriter myself. You're obviously proud of your work, and feel as though it is an important enough situation to post about it on this website. Then, with all things considered and noted.. What are you, as a co-writer, going to do about your current situation? I mean no offense, and wish you the best of luck, but complaining about your situation on this website isn't doing anything to proactively change your current situation. Get off your ass and do something. Find out where the problem is. If it's Pandora, pull the song, or sue them. If it's the publishing company, then by all means, take it as the loss that it is obviously, and move on. Whatever the root cause of the problem may be... fix it. If it's worth that much to you, surely you would have already done something about it. Did this only happen recently? I'd be willing to be not. Thanks for your time, and again - good luck.
