Pandora does NOT pay SONGWRITERS. Pandora pays ASCAP BMI and SESAC. THEY pay the songwriters. Pandora pays around total of 4.5% of its gross income to ASCAP, BMI and SESAC. If she only makes a few bucks from millions of plays, it's the fault of ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, NOT Pandora!
