I'm a songwriter, and if you understood the work, the time, and the effort, that goes into the making of a song, you would not devalue it's true worth! Hours, days, and weeks go into creating the song into what you hear. Writing, mixing, mastering... It takes a team to hear what you hear. Please do not say it's not work or labor because a lot of us lose sleep and spend days and nights in the studio to make sure your hearts and ears hear what we write and create.
