Lively, an app that lets fans download recordings of concerts and listen on the way home, has just raised $2 million.
This leaves Lively’s total funding to date at around $2.65 million. In November of 2013, Lively’s founder Dean Graziano told GeekWire that “they may raise up to $6 million from private equity backers.” The company launched in May of last year and has reportedly turned down acquisition offers.
Bands can upload their concerts to Lively using an iPad and an iOS-compatible audio interface. Lively says Mac, PC, and iPhone uploading is on the way. Fans can buy these concerts via the Lively app on iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows Phone.
