Shuffler.fm is a service dedicated to aggregating posts from music blogs, much like Hype Machine. However, Shuffler is more focused on creating channels of never-ending music, a.k.a. radio stations from your favorite blog or genre.
Now Shuffler.fm has partnered with Sonos, expanding their reach.
First off, Shuffler.fm is now available on Sonos speakers. As of now, Sonos will only play music from select sites, including Pitchfork , Fact Magazine, The Fader, Dazed Digital, XLR8R, and more. In the near future all Shuffler sites will be available.
Shuffler.fm and Sonos have also launched Pause, a new quarterly collection of the best music related posts and articles. Pause is available for the iPad in the App Store.
Pause integrates music and videos into its articles, offering a practically seamless experience.
Pause also includes video and content from Sonos Studios. Thankfully this is quality content that fits right in.
The quality and amount of long-form music articles on the web is rising. Pause will hopefully make it easier to keep up with the best content.
