Food and music go together naturally. Supper. (which confusingly has a period in their name) has built a Spotify app based on this fact, but they’re not the first ones to explore this relationship. Turntable Kitchen is a hybrid food / music blog and subscription service that pairs recipes with album releases.
However, Supper. has found a niche that deserves exploration — the people need playlist / recipe pairing ideas. Putting this service inside Spotify makes it extremely easy to use.
Supper’s main focus is pairing recipes and playlists from quality establishments such as Momofuku and Union Pool.
Supper. includes one playlist for drink recipes and two playlists for food recipes — one for cooking and one for eating.
If you have the food part down but need music for your meal then check out the playlists section. Playlists are curated by tastemakers such as Glasslands and Hipstamatic.
Supper. is the seventh Spotify app I’ve added to my sidebar, joining the likes of Soundrop and BBC Playlister… now that’s saying something.
