This Music Video Changes Every Time You Watch It…

Screen shot 2014-06-16 at 12.45.13 PM

Why watch a boring regular music video, when you can watch a music video that’s different every time you watch it?

In all seriousness, randomly generated music videos will never replace well-crafted and thought out videos… but they are pretty enthralling.

French band Isaac Delusion has released the video for their song “Pandora’s Box”. It’s more of a web app than a “music video”.

600 clips from the public-domain Prelinger Archives randomly generate in time to the music, according to The Creator’s Project. There are certain criteria set to make sure the video is cohesive: explosions come in during the chorus, video of finger snaps come in during snaps in the song, etc.

Generate your own video at the project’s dedicated website.
