Concert tracking platform Songkick has a couple announcements.
They’ve added the ability to schedule tour date announcements in advance, and have also partnered with Bop.fm (a music streaming service that pulls in audio from various sources).
Artists that use Songkick’s Tourbox widget to add tour dates to their website and Facebook page can schedule tour date announcements in advance. Tour dates will publish at the scheduled time, and will push out to Spotify, Deezer, or any other linked services.
Songkick tour dates will also appear on verified Bop.fm artist profiles through the Tourbox widget. The feature is already being used by Tiësto, Snoop Dogg, and Paul McCartney.
Back in May of 2014, Songkick announced that they had reached 10 million monthly unique users and had generated $100 million in revenue from ticketing partnerships.
