Live@Super Bowl XLIV: The Who Struggles Through (#SB44)...

The Who struggled through their classics during their Super Bowl XLIV halftime performance, a tough moment for die-hard fans.  Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend were challenged by their high-energy, demanding songs, including "Pinball Wizard," "Who Are You," and "Won't Get Fooled Again."  Instead of recreating their super-charged shows of old, the group seemed seriously stressed by the workout.  And, on the drums, the absence of Keith Moon still haunts the group, decades later.

That was a disappointment, and cringe-worthy at moments, though plenty of other musical moments surfaced ahead of halftime.  That included an appearance by Kiss (for Dr. Pepper), T-Pain (during a tongue-in-cheek, auto-tuning spot for Doritos), and will.i.am (who remixed a Who track for flo.tv).

Who else?  Other musical moments came from Arcade Fire, Daughtry, and the William Tell Overture.
