Hello Music has just joined forces with music-focused appmaker mobBase.  The deal shuttles some nice freebies to Hello artists, and hopefully results in some great apps.

Gaga is setting new records, this time for "Born This Way," performed recently at the Grammys.  This is now the fastest-rising song on iTunes, after blasting to number one in 21 out of 23 countries.  Of course, sales keep rising and radio spins are also setting records.

And the funding beat goes on.  The latest comes from Songkick, which just rallied $1.9 million of a $2 million round, according to SEC filings.

So who's next?  Well, it starts with a 't' and has a 'u' in it... that's all we can say at this point.

Bury them, continued.  BitTorrent tracker isoHunt is now getting sued/buried by a consortium of labels, including the big four.  That follows a major lawsuit from the MPAA, an injunction, and endless legal headaches.  Other than that, sounds like it's been a fun project for founder Gary Fung.

Where You At?  New Music Seminar is happening right now in Los Angeles, and by:Larm is just getting started in Oslo, Norway.  This is a major conference for Scandinavia and Europe.

Also on the Scandinavian tip, Aspiro has joined forces with ISP heavyweight Telenor to spread WiMP to Sweden.  The streaming music service is already available in Norway and Denmark.
