The next edition of Guitar Hero will be headlined by Aerosmith, according to information supplied by Activision. The game, aptly titled Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, is slated to hit retailers in June. The title will traverse the massive, multi-decade career of the band, and include roughly 30 songs from the group.
For Activision and partner RedOctane, the announcement comes alongside some serious Guitar Hero momentum. The game is a classic among many casual gamers, and the title is frequently the life of the party. The Aerosmith edition will be compatible with a number of consoles, including PlayStation 2 and 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. Other groups, including those that have toured alongside Aerosmith, will also be included. More details on the release are expected over the coming months.
