Warner Music's Stock Has Dropped 72% In Five Years...

Shares of WMG closed at $7.46 on Thursday (markets were closed for Good Friday). That compares to a valuation of $24.46 for the week ending April 24th, 2006, a 71.81 percent drop over the five-year span. On a financial basis, a recent deep-dive by Digital Music News revealed aggregate losses topping $10 billion over the past ten years.   

Shares of WMG have routinely dipped below $5 over the past year, and shares hit a nadir of $1.68 on March 2nd, 2009.  The company is currently entertaining consolidated buyout offers north of $3 billion.
