The Seeqpod domain (seeqpod.com) is now for sale, according to information shared with Digital Music News by URL broker Sedo.  The asking price is $125,000, though according to one source close to the process, some negotiation may be in order.  

The purchase naturally includes traffic to the site, though interest has largely plunged since a takedown in late April.  "SeeqPod.com offers a strong flow of traffic, which can be leveraged into another business idea, especially ones involving music," said Jeremiah Johnston, COO of Sedo.com.

Meanwhile, Seeqpod CEO Kasian Franks continues to point to an acquisition deal ahead, potentially involving Microsoft, though the sale of the core domain seems unconvincing.  The company declared bankruptcy in late March after being crushed by major label legal bills.
