And the latest details on the upcoming Google Music initiative? Gems keep dripping on a package that will include anywhere access, paid downloads and subscription aspects, and a pre-holiday launch now seems near-certain.
In the latest disclosure, Android product manager Gaurav Jain confirmed to Israeli financial newspaper Calcalist that the music initiative will launch alongside Android 3.0. Not only that, Google Music will be an important part of the launch, and the action will happen in the fall or winter. The 3.0 platform, apparently codenamed Gingerbread, is close to being fully baked.
