At EMI Music, Rob Stevenson has now stepped into the role of President of Virgin US, reporting to Nick Gatfield, President of A&R for North America, UK & Ireland. Stevenson was most recently Executive Vice President of A&R at Island Def Jam Music Group in the US, part of Universal Music Group. Stevenson also helmed Stolen Transmission, a joint venture with Universal.
On the publishing side, Scott Francis is now assuming the reins as President of Warner/Chappell Music, as well as Chairman and CEO of the US-based unit. The appointment was announced Wednesday by Warner/Chappell Music chairman and CEO David H. Johnson. Francis was most recently President of BMG Songs for North America.
