A group of Radiohead fans recently cobbled together video clips of a show in Prague.  The resulting download was supported by the band, who lent a high-quality audio recording from the board. 

RadioTime has just purchased the TuneIn iPhone app, and hired its creator.

iTunes Store buyers are "still completely engaged with music," according to NPD Group.  In a survey conducted by the group, 56 percent indicated that they purchase music exclusively.

Are those afflicted with low self-esteem and narcissism likely to spend more time on Facebook?  Yes, according to a recent study coming out of York University in Toronto.  

Fat Beats in Manhattan shutters September 4th, but the going away party has been going strong.  The week-long shindig includes participation from luminary DJs like Premier, among many others.

Sony is now planning to launch a cloud-based music service by the end of the year.  The service, "Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity," will initially work on network-enabled Bravia TVs, Blu-ray systems, and PS3s.

Stocks elevated on Wednesday despite mixed news, and Warner Music Group (WMG)SanDisk (SNDK), and TransWorld Entertainment (TWMC) were among the bigger gainers.  WMG added 8.13 percent to land at $4.52.  A complete Wall Street wrap here
