Turntable.fm is accustomed to giant-sized portions of attention, and some pretty decent VC cash. But it's actually a small, 9-person startup based in New York. And it looks like this:

Well, those soft-scrabble beginnings are now hitting the left coast, particularly Los Angeles. Which makes sense, given LA's increasingly-important role in the music industry. Accordingly, Turntable.fm is now looking for an 'Artist Relations Pro,' one that will operate 'full-time in our Los Angeles office.' And, they clearly want boots on the ground: the company is specifically nixing the idea of remote work on this gig.
The rest sounds like pretty interesting 'work'. The position calls for lots of artist, management, agent and label collaboration to 'develop and execute campaigns that engage fans and leverage the Turntable.fm platform,' a charter that also includes event marketing.
We've put out some feelers to get more information, so stay tuned. For now, there's more on the position here.
