The Department of Music and Entertainment Industries in Syracuse University’s Setnor School of Music seeks a progressive music industry professional for a one-year appointment to teach undergraduate courses. Our new faculty member should have significant professional music industry expertise to bring directly to the classroom.

We seek an individual with experience in one or more of the following areas: the live music business, branding and sponsorship, recorded music, music publishing, studio recording, live sound design, music supervision, music video production, live concert video production, artist management, radio or new media entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the entertainment industry with an eye to the future to prepare students for the changing landscape within the music industry.

Our new faculty member will maintain a full-time teaching load for the year while facilitating relationship building between the music industry, our students and Syracuse University.
