Nickelback is now readying the release of another album, though Roadrunner – not Live Nation – will push the product.
The album update closely follows the announcement of a major, 360-degree tie-up with Live Nation, one that spans recording assets, merchandising, licensing opportunities, sponsorships, touring, and other revenue-generators.
But Nickelback still owes a pair of albums to Roadrunner, a dangling commitment for the group. Roadrunner Records, now a division of Warner Music Group, announced a release date of November 18th for the upcoming title, just in time for Christmas. The album will be produced by Mutt Lange in Vancouver, and the lead single will be “If Today Was Your Last Day”.
Roadrunner and Nickelback have already sold 26 million albums over a ten-year span, with 10 million came from the latest release, All The Right Reasons. The album will be carried by EMI Music in Canada.
