*TAG Strategic has just tapped Corey Denis for the role of Vice President, Digital Marketing & Social Media, according to details confirmed Monday to Digital Music News.

*Outside Lands has just announced its 2011 lineup.  Muse, Phish, Arcade Fire, deadmau5, the Black Keys… it’s stuffed.  More at sfoutsidelands.com; the action happens August 12-14.

*MTV News today announced the hiring of Jason Kaufman to the newly created position of Vice President of Daily News.

*Live Nation is now naming U2’s 360 tour as the highest-grossing of all time.  The trek now surpasses the Rolling Stones’ Bigger Bang Tour, which raked $554 million, and 360 could break the $700 million-mark by the end.

*YouTube is now expanding its live streaming content, and  envisions “thousands of partners with the capability to live stream from their channels in the months ahead.”  An initial footprint is at youtube.com/live.

*More bids are trickling in for Warner Music Group, and about ten suitors now appear part of the process.  That includes a joint bid involving Oaktree Capital Management and Primary Wave Music – that is, according to the New York Post.
