I don’t support anarchy therefore keep me off this list. I am all for a fair tax code and limited regulations to keep markets fair for all participants.

  2. Reece

Then you all won’t mind if I disregard the Capitalist system and steal all of your art work. I’m entitled to it for free. Oh, and demand free access to your shows, events, and copyrights. After all, I am the 99%. I don’t have your talent and frankly haven’t worked very hard to be utilize the talent I have. Therefore I have no way of being successful. It’s your fault for not allowing room for me. You owe me.

    • lost john

uh, you sound less like the 99% and more like a manager of a mid-size label trying to implement major label techniques in a market that has ZERO use for you.

    • Yves Villeneuve

I am going to defend Reece here.

In this Movement, there are more demands than there are protesters.

    • Reeeaaaally?

«you all won’t mind if I disregard the Capitalist system»

You can’t disregard capitalism, since you are still paying for an internet connection e.t.c.

  3. James M

This movement is bad and all of these musicians should feel bad.

Also, you should bold the names of all of the bigger musicians (like Lou Reed) so they stand out against the throngs of random musicians here that nobody cares about.

  4. Roger G Lewis

Take back the money Power. Think of a new system of banking where there are lots of independent Banking Labels widening choice and competition not popular with the Majors but Capitaliam really is built on a pretty big lie. The Occupy Movement is right to raise so many questions so many improtant questions are supressed in the Mainstream Corporate Media and not asked in the mainstream ciorporate government so many musicians are employed in the deciet of pedaling the impossible consumerist dream this intitiative to me seems very worthwhile.

    • albert

Capitalism is “built on a lie”? Why don’t you try one of the other systems instead. If it wasn’t for capitalism you wouldn’t have a computer in your hands. Useful idiots..

  5. musicmachineshop

Nice concept but what’s with the weird doll graphics?

    • @epicfailure1988

we have a song called occupied it was out before the occupy philly thing happened and the lyrics depict it

  6. winerunner

The hypocricy of those supporting OWS is humorous. Most of them, in any given day, think nothing of using products and services created by the ‘big capitalist bullies’. Everything from their iPhones to ATT & Sprint that make the texts/calls possible to the designer clothes they wear to the bank from which they use their ATM to withdraw money.

Incredibly misguided young people being USED by others that have a bigger agenda.

  7. BOB DEVERE

    former manager of WEATHER REPORT.

I support your endeavor and spirit.

  8. @karenallen

This list reads like a “who’s that?” of the music industry.
