Executive Shuffles: Kobalt, Canadian Music Week, Twitter…

Kobalt Music Group has just shuttled Sas Metcalfe from Executive Vice President Creative to the newly-created slot of President, Global Creative.  Metcalfe will report to Kobalt CEO Willard Ahdritz and President Richard Sanders, and continue to oversee an 18-person creative team out of Los Angeles.

Elsewhere, Kobalt Label Services (part of the Music Group) has tapped David Emery as UK Marketing Director.  Emery, now a Beggars Group alum, will oversee UK marketing campaigns for KLS releases and operate out of London.

Canadian Music Week has also announced its 2014 Co-Chairs: Goldenvoice Concerts Vice President Elliott Lefko, CTV music correspondent Eric Alper, JJIMS Inc. president and CEO Jim (JJ) Johnston, and Six Shooter Records founder Shauna de Cartier.

That was fast: recently-booted Ticketmaster CEO Nathan Hubbard has re-booted at Twitter, as Head of Commerce.  Hubbard will operate under head of revenue Adam Bain, with a goal to create a more lucrative and effective platform for retailers and brands.
