But how many are actually paying?
Bloom.fm claims to be “the highest rated music streaming app” on Google Play, with a 4.5/5 rating. 83 percent of Bloom.fm’s users are under 35, which makes sense for a mobile music service.
Bloom’s iOS app was released in January of 2013, and the Android app was released September 2013. It is available in the United Kingdom.
Bloom.fm offers a £1 ($1.61) per month music subscription service, which allows users to download and borrow 20 tracks at a time. Borrowed tracks can be switched out at any time, and 30 second previews are available prior to borrowing. There is a £10 ($16.09) per month plan that offers unlimited streaming and borrowing.
The free plan also offers radio stations.
