Miley’s antics appear to have benefited the American Music Awards…

The AMAs had their second largest audience in 11 years.

The awards show had 12.9 million viewers and a 4.5 rating, a four year high. Ratings among teenagers were up 86 percent from 2012.

Miley Cyrus didn’t break out any weed on stage, opting for a more subdued performance. Other performers included Lady Gaga and R. Kelly, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, and others.

The most viewed program of the night was the New England Patriots vs. the Denver Broncos, the highest rated November primetime game since 1996.

eh. “The team changed its name from the original Boston Patriots after relocating to Foxborough in 1971, although Foxborough is a suburb of Boston”

There was a lot of ads with the host leading up to it. Yes Pitbull, believe it or not people really like the guy. He sells out arenas in every city he plays in around the whole world and he’s had a string of charting songs for years now.
