If you were looking to secure a spot on Damian Marley’s first ‘Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise’ then you’re out of luck. All 2,300 cabins have been reserved in less than a month, almost a full year in advance.

Everyone from Coachella to Hard Festival to Paramore now has a cruise to call their own. As these cruises grew in popularity, Damian Marley and his manager Dan Dalton came up with the idea of the first reggae cruise.  They worked with Marley’s booking agent, Brian Edelman of William Morris Endeavor, and Mike Rosenfeld of WME’s Cruise Division.

Damian Marley told Billboard:

“Reggae doesn’t traditionally move a lot of numbers but it is loved the world over and this cruise is a testament to that; we haven’t done any marketing except announcing the lineup in late September, and it sold out”

The cruise will take place in late October 2014, traveling from Miami to Jamaica. The lineup features Damian, Stephen, and Julian Marley, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Busy Signal, and many others.
