Mobile speaker company Boombotix has $4M in new funding.
The funding came from new investors The Social + Capital Partnership, Baseline, Red Hills, Great Oaks and Grishin Robotics, and previous investors Walden Venture Capital and David Dolby.
Co-founder Lief Storer told TechCrunch the investors are interested in “product development and strategic marketing”.
The company originally raised funds through multiple Kickstarter campaigns. They raised $17,000 for a music playback app and almost $130,000 for their mobile Bluetooth speaker.
