Executive Shuffles: Warner/Chappell, UMG, ADA, Downtown Publishing, BMG Chrysalis, RED, Eleven Seven

BMG Chrysalis has hired Mark Robinson as their new SVP and General Counsel. Most recently Robinson was Warner Music Group’s Vice President and Senior Counsel.

Warner/Chappell Music UK has made Jo Smith Director of Legal and Business Affairs. Smith will start at Warner/Chappell in April.

Steven Markland is now VP of A&R at Downtown Music Publishing. He will be opening the company’s first Nashville office.

Richard Nash is now SVP of Urban Promotion at RED Distribution and RED Associated Labels, which provides label services to some Sony Music venture partners. Previously,  Nash was SVP of Urban Promotion at EMI Music.

Saheli Datta is now Head of Global Compliance at Universal Music Group. Datta is also SVP of Ethics, Compliance and Employment Counsel.

There are two changes at ADA:

  • Brandon Square has been promoted. Square is now SVP of Digital Strategy and Revenue at ADA Worldwide.
  • Tatia Adams Fox is now SVP of Marketing. Fox was previously VP of Marketing at Universal Motown Records.

Rose Slanic has been promoted to North American General Manager at Eleven Seven Music Group. Slanic was previously Vice President.
