Chances are you had a great music teacher that helped push you onto this path. If not, you probably know a great music teacher who deserves recognition.
The Grammy Foundation and The Recording Academy are accepting nominations for their Music Educator Award. Music teachers who teach kindergarten through college students at a public or private school in the U.S. are eligible.
The deadline to nominate is March 31st, 2014. Ten finalists and one winner will be selected. Finalists will receive $1,000 and the winner will get $10,000 and a trip to Los Angeles to accept the award and attend the Grammys.
