Unilever, the massive corporation behind products like Hellmann’s, Axe, Dove, and Lipton, has selected companies it will support as part of its Go Global program.
Seven companies were selected, including Songza and Africori, an African digital distribution, music licensing, and brand partnership company. Overall, several hundred companies applied to the program.
Go Global is designed to help smaller and medium-sized digital companies expand globally. Unilever will mentor these companies and help them come up with digital marketing plans. Campaigns will tie in with CLEAR, Hellmann’s, Magnum, Pro.Activ / Flora, Surf, Vaseline, and Unilever Project Sunlight. Songza and Africori will also receive $100,000 in cash.
Songza says the Go Global program will help them “drive meaningful growth in distribution and monetization globally“.
